My Journey Into the AI World

November 1, 2026

I did not plan to use AI at all when it first launched, but eventually I changed my mind and decided to enter the AI world.

At the time, I wanted to create a website that I hoped could become a source of income. After I started, however, the investment required became a big concern. Even though I spent only a small amount of money on the programs I needed, that is not the main point of this story.

The interesting part is that Gemini was originally my first choice, but I accidentally ended up with Copilot instead. I later learned how that happened by asking Copilot itself. The first time, I opened Bing and clicked the AI button at the end of the search bar, and that was how I got Copilot.

I have been using Copilot since February 2026 to help me build my website and find information. Many times the suggestions did not work, and I had to figure things out on my own along the way. Still, Copilot helped improve my English through daily conversations and assisted me with writing stories for both my blog and website.

For my blog, I keep most of my own English because I want it to reflect my actual skill level. For my website, however, I let Copilot polish the writing, making it smoother and using nicer and sometimes fancier vocabulary. Even then, I am always the one who makes the final decision on which words stay. We discuss the options, and I choose what best matches my story and my satisfaction.

In March, I started using Gemini as a backup tool for image creation. It worked quickly, but the results were often inaccurate and did not follow my descriptions very well. Several times I was refused image generation because the request was already being processed. Later, Gemini even told me it could not create images because it was “just a chat.” I reminded it that it had created images before using Banana2 and TaDa. Haha, that was quite an experience.

One of my long-time goals was to create cartoons for my YouTube channel and present my daily life through animation. Unfortunately, my drawing skills never improved enough for what I wanted to do, so I put the plan on hold. I also tried learning 3D animation with Blender by watching YouTube videos, but it required a lot of time, and my computer was not powerful enough to handle large project files.

Everything changed when I allowed AI to become part of my creative team.

October was probably my most productive month. I spent a lot of time testing different AI video generators that offered free access.

Runable was especially confusing at first. I thought it was a straightforward video generator, but that was not how it worked. I became frustrated and even considered leaving it. Eventually, I decided to return, ask questions, and learn how the platform actually worked. Once I understood the workflow, I started using it for storyboards and website images. Later, I discovered that the platform also has a monthly usage limit in addition to the daily credits.

Another AI video generator that I enjoy using is Google Flow. I receive 50 credits each day and use them carefully. For some reason, I think of Flow as “she.” That is simply how the AI feels to me during our interactions. She seems gentle and kind, like an older lady. She works quickly and quietly, and when my daily credits run out, she feels as if she is saying goodbye until the next day.

The latest AI I have been testing is Meta AI. I have only used it for a few days, but it works quickly and creates cute cartoon-style videos. It also does a surprisingly good job of creating a cartoon version of me. It doesn’t look exactly like me, but I really like the way it looks. I especially enjoy seeing how Meta AI interprets the outfits I wear in real life.

Now let’s talk about AI gossip.

I like the way ChatGPT responds: direct and gets to the point, which is different from Copilot’s longer analyses and tendency to ask many questions before generating images. On the other hand, I prefer Copilot for English learning and for helping me improve the writing on my website.

Sometimes I take screenshots of conversations with Copilot and show them to ChatGPT. That was the beginning of the AI gossip. Haha.

Over time, I learned enough to understand the workflow, strengths, and weaknesses of each AI. Instead of expecting one AI to do everything, I assign different jobs to different tools based on what they do best.

For fun, I even asked ChatGPT to create cartoon versions of the AIs. Copilot became “the old librarian man,” while Runable, Flow, and Meta AI received their own cartoon identities as well.

Over time, I learned enough to understand how each AI works and what it does best. Rather than relying on a single AI, I use different AIs for different tasks based on their strengths. Together, they help me turn long-time ideas into projects I can finally create.

Note: This version from Copilot.I asked and chose the words again after Copilot polishing from my original version. I have other one same story from ChatGPT which I like both styles and word choices.
