Today I paused for a moment and looked at how much my life has changed. I’ve built a space that feels calm and honest, and I’m learning to choose what I share and what I keep for myself. Some things belong to the world, and some things belong only to me — and that balance feels peaceful.

Life of Sufficiency
The idea of “enough” is different for everyone. Our families, our lifestyles, and the environments we grew up in shape what feels right for each of us.
The word “enough” gives a feeling of space and ease. Especially for anyone who has carried heavy responsibilities—burdens that feel like weight on the shoulders—this word can feel like a breath of relief.
“Enough” and “sufficiency” feel like relatives, maybe siblings. Both words carry the same softness: no need to struggle, no need to fight, no need to push yourself until you’re exhausted or breathless.
A long time ago, someone told me, “Oath, you don’t have a middle ground.” And maybe that was true back then. I lived between extremes—very high or very low, all or nothing, can or cannot.
Today, I feel that I’ve found my own sense of enough. I feel sufficient, content, and steady. I don’t chase, I don’t force, and I don’t reach for things that sit too high above me. A big part of this comes from living with someone who is simple and calm, someone who also doesn’t chase or compete. Having enough, being enough, and not comparing myself to anyone—that is what makes my life feel peaceful.
Recently, I heard someone on YouTube say that their life is built on “enough.” It made me look at myself and think, “Yes… maybe that’s me too.”
P.S. This does not include shopping. Women and shopping are still a classic pair. Of course, some women don’t enjoy shopping—but I’m definitely not one of them.
